CWB uses a detailed process to determine what equipment will provide the optimal coverage for a given structure or set of structures and to map the location of the broadband demarcation (point of connection to the internet service provider), wireless access points, antennas and other gear. Our network engineer will arrange a visit and collect data using portable wireless access points and various antenna configurations. Digital floor plans are helpful at this stage if they are available. From this data, the network engineer will write a detailed site survey report.
Based on the resulting site survey report, CWB will create a written proposal that specifies the equipment to be installed, where it will be located, a timeline for the job and the cost of the installation.
The proposal will include a standard Services Agreement representing a contract between the homeowners association and CWB. This Agreement will cover provisions of the installation, ongoing support of the equipment and terms of compensation.
At this point, the homeowners association will have all the information it needs to consider the deal.
Once a contract is in place, CWB will arrange with your property manager to schedule delivery of equipment and an installation timeline.
When the system is online, at your convenience, your CWB representative and network engineer will host a brief seminar for residents of the community to explain how to get online and assist with actual implementation of connections.
